My wife and I are 75/74 and have been visiting Western NC for the last 3 years several times each year, and except for the first time, have always stayed at cabins through VRBO and the other one. Each time we mention how much we liked the place, and this time was no exception. It rained for several days and it was enjoyable to sit out on the front porch and have our breakfast while watching and listening to the light rain. In the morning, we would both do a quick rinse off and soak our old bones in the hot tub before getting going - a nice treat. The cabin was easy to get to and all roads leading to it were paved, not always the case. I did have to learn to rely on my mirror backup camera to navigate getting out but we have a full-size pickup, which is sometimes a little large to maneuver. The location was great and bascially a short drive to Hendersonville and Brevard as well as the Dupont Forest and Pisgah Forest. This was probably our best choice so far and communicaiton (I did have one or two questions) was fast and clear and can't ask more than that! |
