Loved our time in the Kanto House. Perfect location for a getaway to hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway. We saw some of Brevard’s famed white squirrels right in the neighborhood (after driving around the local college and park for an hour!) The kitchen is fully updated, and there’s a docking station for your Nintendo Switch in the living room. Loved the quirky gaming design elements throughout the house. Would gladly stay here again if I ever make it back to North Carolina/Brevard! |

We enjoyed our stay. My mom, daughter and I got to spend one night together catching up and loved the close proximity to downtown Brevard. We wanted something convenient to the camp where my daughter is working, and this house was all we hoped for! Beds were comfy, family room perfect for the three of us to hang out, and my daughter enjoyed a morning run around the neighborhood. When I had a question, the owners were quick to respond. |

Nice property with a huge kitchen and comfy beds. A dining table would be nice. Should put blinds in the kitchen. Very small vanity/sink so not for those with lots of sundries. I have more specific complaints but I’d definitely return solo for a short stay. |

We only stayed 2 nights but were satisfied with the house and yard. Our dogs were not use to a fenced yard so they stayed on the deck. We never leave our pets alone.We are older and could have used a bath mat in the tub/shower and a hand rail in the shower. |

I recommend this stay in Brevard. The check-in process was easy with clear instructions. House was clean. The listing says it is pet friendly. There is a slight dog odor in the bedrooms. This is probably harmless for a pet owner, but for non-pet owners it is noticeable. Other than this, property was nice. Overall, I do recommend this stay for the price. |

The house was just as advertised and had a nice backyard for our dog. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the outside deck was great for the beautiful weather we had. Close to central Brevard and hiking. Would stay again. |

Check in process was a breeze and it helped out so much that they are dog friendly! Our pup and toddler loved running around in the backyard. The house was perfect and we had a great time there! |

We were evacuated due to wildfires and needed a place to stay for a couple nights to regroup. The house was very clean and smelled nice when we got there. Very comfortable. Definitely pet friendly. |

The location couldn’t have been better, everything was in a 1-3 mile radius. The yard was definitely a huge plus. It’s a cute little place, perfect for a short getaway, it has a fully equipped kitchen, the bed was comfortable, and there was a carport. The carpets inside could use some shampooing though. |

Very convenient area and great backyard for our pets. Beds were comfy. Bathroom a little bit small but OK. Didn't think that it should've been a requirement to have to change the sheets before we left because we are already paying a cleaning fee. |

It was a nice house but the location was a little sketchy. Be prepared to do some of the cleaning— or be charged another $50. I was a little frustrated bc that should have been told to us before we arrived at the house. I understand the turn around time needs to be quick but we shouldn’t have had to change the sheets, start a load of laundry and take out all the trash before we left. |

A great place to call home for a few days of adventuring around Brevard. I never spend much time at my rentals, but it was a cozy spot to curl up on the couch with dinner and a movie after a full day in the mountains. Location is close to downtown, restaurants, and breweries. Backyard was great for my pup. Just note the back deck gets slick on those frosty mornings! |

The home was easy to find and easy to get into. Walked in it smelled great. Appeared clean. Was very convient to grocery stores and small restaurants. LESS than 5 mins from DT Brevard. Very close to a couple waterfalls which we enjoyed. Overall the house suited our needs. ONLY concern is the cleaning situation. You gotta be one of those people to trust the people before you did what they were supposed to do. There is an extra 75.00 fee if you don't do certain things. My husband was up at 7 washing all the linens and sheets. I mean if you stay only 2 night like we did. The beds wouldn't appear to be dirty. You could literally pull the sheets tight and make the bed and the cleaning people and people coming in wouldn't know the difference. Then you just get in the bed that some else slept in without it being cleaned which is kinda concerning. I missed that in the ad. Would have weighted that in the price of that with a house where we didn't half to do anything. Satisfied overall. |
