The DuPont Cottage was absolutely perfect! It was clean upon arrival and the location was great for accessing DuPont, Brevard, and even Hendersonville. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings and at night. We had an adorable dog come visit us on Saturday morning while enjoying coffee on the porch. He added excitement to our trip :) The grill was a nice bonus, too. Thank you for making our trip memorable! We will be back soon! |

The location of the cottage is wonderful. Out in the forrest but just a quick ride into town to grab dinner or necessities. David was quick to respond the one time I reached out to him. |

We enjoyed our stay at David's Dupont cabin. The cabin was just the right size for our group of three. It was clean and met our needs well. The description that it was seconds away from Dupont was a bit misleading, however. Dupont is approximately 4 miles and would be difficult to walk or bike to because you have to walk or bike on a main road which does not have a bike lane or shoulder to walk on. If there was an alternate route, information for the alternate route was not available. Anyone booking with David, be AWARE that although you pay an up front cleaning fee of $75 if you do not follow the posted COVID-19 procedures to the LETTER you can be charged an additional cleaning fee of $50 to $125 and part of the requirements is that you have to strip the beds and re-make the beds with the linens provided before you leave. |

This is a nice and clean house. It feels fairly new and is perfectly comfortable for 2 adults and 1 child or 2 couples. My son and I were visiting DuPont to mountain bike and although it’s a 2.5 mile road ride to the first accessible trail head, you can indeed “bike to DuPont”. Very convenient for outdoor activities. Unfortunately, the host has “Covid-19” cleaning regulations upon check out that unless followed to the tee, assesses a $50 fee. We put fresh lines on the beds, started the towels in the laundry, did the dishes, and cleaned the house and kitchen (disinfected the counters and table). Because we didn’t put the dishes away and left them to dry in the rack (since we had just used them) and didn’t make the beds to his standards, he charged us the $50 on those technicalities. Beware! Calling this cleaning process a “Covid-19” protocol is a bit egregious. If guest safety was the real concern for the host, why would having the previous guest do the bulk of the cleaning duties be considered safe? A masked and gloved professional would be a safer alternative. This should also be stipulated as part of the check out process before the guests arrive. |

This Airbnb was perfect! It was super clean, comfortable, and close to everything I wanted to see and do! The hosts were so easy to communicate with and it was clear that they love creating a welcoming space for people to visit. I would definitely recommend this place! |

Nice little place, but not too small. 5 stars for being exactly what it says it is, and really good about it. Like, the listing says it has a coffee pot, and sure enough, it has a Keurig that makes single cups or a pot. The coffee mugs were quality too. Towels and linens were of good quality, not cheap. The mattresses were comfortable. Everything was really clean and well kept. etc.. I can't think of anything regarding the cabin to nit-pick, so it gets 5 stars. This is all in the context of how much we used the cabin. We were pretty much only there to shower, sleep, and drink coffee. The rest of our time was spent out and about. |

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend. The house was perfect for us. It was very comfortable and home like. It was close enough to the things we had planned but secluded enough so that we it felt like we were the only ones around. Should we get the opportunity to get away again we would definitely stay here again. |

A lovely little cabin--comfortable, tasteful, and clean. The large front porch is perfect for coffee or drinks in the morning or afternoon. The place is quiet and so very close to good hiking. |
