The cabin was situated on a little stream and we enjoyed the hot tub every evening after a long day of hiking. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed but overall we would definitely come back. |

Everything was perfect! Our family just needed a place to stay to do some apple-picking and the location was perfect. So close to many apple orchards and some great trails/waterfalls too. Just wish we had more time to spend than one night so we could have more time enjoying the property! |

The little bungalow was nestled against the mountain side with small creek running beside the porch that allowed for a peaceful soak in hot tub while listening to the acorns fall from the trees . The house was well stocked and comfy and clean. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. |

Great setting, next to small, rocky stream, surrounded by large, old rhododendrons. Should be gorgeous when they bloom in June. Cabin was spotless, well-equipped and homey. Easy to understand signage throughout cabin, explaining how everything worked, was much appreciated. Host responded clearly and quickly to all questions. Hot tub with plenty of towels felt like a luxury after the drive from the Triangle area. |

We had a great stay in this cabin. The cabin is well stocked with everything that you will need. It is close to all the outdoor activities that we enjoy and to Brevard. We have stayed in other cabins that David offers and they are all great! |

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back. The host was incredibly accommodating and made us feel welcome from the start.What really stood out was the attention to detail. Everything had been thoughtfully provided, and the kitchen was stocked with quality, usable cookware instead of the bare minimum you often find in vacation rentals. It truly felt like a place designed for guests to enjoy rather than just get by.This is also one of the most pet-friendly places we've stayed. The dedicated fenced area for dogs was a fantastic feature and gave us real peace of mind while traveling with our pets.Our favorite part of each day was relaxing on the porch and listening to the creek. It was peaceful, beautiful, and exactly the kind of setting we were hoping for. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-equipped getaway with a responsive host and a relaxing atmosphere, this property is an excellent choice. |

Right in the middle of everything you could ever want to do here. All the falls and parks are close by and only minutes from restaurants and just far enough out to be a quiet setting. The stream and hot tub were perfect. I would recommend this to everybody. If we ever back in the area we'll be staying here again. Everything was and well supplied. And the host has all the little amenities that make the difference. |

Mountain Shadows is a cozy cottage nestled in the forest amongst a few other cabins but with enough privacy to let you lay back and relax. The house was well-equipped, clean and the hot tub was a welcome diversion after a long day out. This is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone. |

This was my second time here, my husband’s first and we loved it. Centrally located to Asheville and Hendersonville within 30 mins. We liked how serene and secluded it was and enjoyed listening to the stream while we sat on the porch and in the hot tub. We took our dogs and it was so nice being able to let them roam in the fenced in backyard. |

The location was perfect, close enough to everything we wanted to do, yet tucked back in the woods so it felt peaceful, private, and very safe. It was the best of both worlds. One of the highlights was the hot tub, which was spotless and thoughtfully placed right alongside a babbling brook. Relaxing there while listening to the water was incredibly calming and made our stay feel extra special. Our pup loved the setting too; plenty of space to explore, peaceful surroundings, and a very dog-friendly feel that made the trip enjoyable for all of us. The home itself was very clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to cook meals without having to improvise. Little details throughout the space made it feel welcoming and well thought out. Communication with the host was smooth and easy, and everything was as described. |

This VRBO was awesome! It was so private and had so much land and space! It was extremely well taken care of and the cleaning crew did an excellent job thinking of every little detail. The hot tub was better than our big Gatlinburg cabin from the prior day and we really enjoyed it and the ambiance. Highly reccomend!! |
