It was peaceful, and secluded enough to give you the forest feel. The area of the home was quiet, relaxing and pleasant. We spent a great deal of time on the deck, playing games and enjoying the hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need to prepare meals, and the fridge/freezer made lots of ice, which was awesome. David is a terrific host who was attentive to my questions throughout the stay... |

This house was exactly like the pictures. My husband and I had a very nice relaxing vacation. Beautiful hiking a short drive way. Get home if you have fur babies as the fenced off area was a life savor! |

The porch was wonderful for coffee in the morning, wine in the afternoon. The hot tub was a relaxing treat after waterfall hikes. The back fenced in area was perfect for a before bed potty time for Chip. |

We recently had the pleasure of staying at David’s cabin in the woods, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The serene surroundings provided a perfect escape, with the added joy of seeing deer right outside, which thrilled the kids! The cabin itself was impeccably maintained and offered a wealth of amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, which was the perfect spot to unwind while soaking in the beauty of nature. The on-site laundry facilities were a convenient touch, and we greatly appreciated the thoughtful provision of essentials like coffee and toilet paper. David’s attention to detail and hospitality truly made our stay memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the woods. The stream running through the property is awesome with all sorts of wildlife. The hot tub was relaxing and quite private while still allowing excellent views!Close enough to pisgah, reataurants, breweries, etc while still being very isolated.We would love to come back! |

Our stay at this property in Florida was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, even before, the host went above and beyond - extremely responsive, helpful, and clearly takes pride in providing a great experience. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and well-maintained. We felt right at home! The location was perfect- just a short walk to the beach and close to all the pools and amenities. It was the ideal spot for our family vacation. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and comfortable getaway. |

This cabin was the perfect base camp for a week of biking, hiking, and trail running. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals (but lots of options within a 20 minute drive when we didn't feel like cooking!). We enjoyed being able to bring our dog along with us, and he loved getting to sniff around in the woods by the house. We hope to come back! |

We had a great time! The place was perfect and had everything we needed. The kids got in the hot tub every day we were there. They enjoyed jumping on the rocks in the creek to the side of the house. Everything was neat and tidy. It stayed a perfect temperature inside too. Amazing location! 20 min from downtown Brevard and pisgah forest. We drove through blue ridge and got to see some waterfalls. Would totaly do it all over again. Hosts were quick at answering all questions we had. Thank you so much for a great vacation for our family. |

Upon arrival, the cabin had no power due to a storm that came through the area earlier that day but it came back on the next day thankfully. David communicated well through this process! After the first day, the cabin lived up to expectations. It was in a secluded area but close enough to town, hiking trails, and the state park. it was great place to kick back after hiking all day and the hot tub was an added bonus and the sound of the creek made it even better. |

What a pleasant surprise! David's place was even better than the pictures. It was cozy, clean & the beds were comfortable. Loved the gas fireplace in the cold evenings. Good wifi. The hot tub was fantastic after hiking for 5 hrs. The soft lighting & beautiful views from the porch were so relaxing, peacefull & quiet. The kitchen was spacious & well stocked with many extra amenities to help you feel right at home. Highly recommend David's place. |
