The cabin was excellent all the way around! Very close to our family that live in Brevard and to Pisgah National Forest. I especially appreciated the well stocked dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, bath soap, towels and trash bags. We will definitely rent one of your cabins again, as we realized you own all the ones around there. Thanks so much! |

This was a great place for me and my pup, and I had everything I needed for an extended stay. It might be helpful for some to know that the kitchen and main bedroom, and main living room, are located up a flight of stairs (for some that might be problematic). It is an older, rustic type of place, reminiscent of a hunting cabin in the woods, but for a nature lover it was fantastic. The second floor porch is covered and shaded all day long, and the cottage and neighborhood are surrounded by large trees and forest, but access to main roads (hiking, biking, Brevard, Hendersonville etc) is easy. Wifi is strong, and there are two smart TVs with free television included for those who don't use streaming services. David and his caretaker team were great, I highly recommend. |

My daughter and I stayed for three nights at StoneyBrook Cabin and it was everything we needed. The hot tub soaks at the end of the day, after walks to waterfalls and shopping in downtown Asheville was the great way to end our days. The weather was so refreshing and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The little stream by the cabin was so pleasant to listen to as we sat on the porch with our morning coffee. Life was GOOD at the cabin! |

Next to a wonderful small brook that was very soothing as we sat on the upper deck having our morning drink or afternoon wine. Loved the location in the waterfall area of the state and saw many. Kitchen was well appointed with all the needed items and the master bed was perfect. Quiet and private was what we wanted and exactly what we received. Loved it. |

This cabin was a great weekend stay. The cabin itself was very dated (old appliances in the kitchen), but it was super well kept up, and the important things had been updated (bathrooms, beds). It was a great fit for the two of us and our dog. We didn't get a chance to use all the amenities as we had a great time exploring the area. We will definitely be back. The only downside is there wasn't a grassy yard for our dog to use, but we made it work. |

We loved our stay at this adorable mountain cottage! We came to hike and see the waterfalls that Brevard is known for. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5 … plenty of space, three outdoor areas to enjoy the quiet woods and babbling brook right next to the cottage. We enjoyed the hot tub every night and sitting on the porch to sip coffee in the mornings. Very clean, has a well equipped kitchen, plenty of extra towels and towels for the hot tub as well. Laundry conveniently located. Comfy beds and pillows and everything we needed.Locally, we had a great meal and drinks at Ecusta Brewery (less than 20 min away) and had beautiful hikes to the Pisagah National Forest and DuPont State Recreational Forest. Highlights were: Looking Glass Falls, Triple Falls, Hooker Falls, High Falls, and Moore Cove Falls. Brevard has a lovely downtown and we enjoyed the pizza at Big Mike’s and sweet treats and coffee at the Bracken Mountain Bakery. We highly recommend this cottage and a visit to this beautiful part of the Blue Ridge Mountain range! |

What a cozy space! The accommodations were much roomier than we had anticipated. David's place was a perfect meeting spot for a quick trip with family. Overall great value for money and far enough to feel secluded yet close enough to do a quick grocery run ( Ingles is approximately 10 min away) check-in was easy and directions provided were clear with no issues finding the place. |

My wife and I absolutely loved our honeymoon stay at the Stoney Brook Cottage. Check in and out was simple and easy, David was very helpful through communication on local restaurants and sights to see. The cottage was clean and very cozy, made us feel right at home. Would definitely stay here again. |

Very peaceful location, cute house & very clean! This is our 2nd time saying & we enjoyed our time both trips. Good location to hiking, fishing & waterfalls. Short trip to Breweries & good restaurants in Bervard. Enjoyed hot tub after a long day of exploring. Perfect mix of exploring & relaxing. |

What we loved- Pastoral setting - private & quiet, plus the sound of the stream flowing next to the cabin.- Photos don’t do it justice - it’s bigger than it looked in photos - The kitchen is fully equipped & stocked with cooking implements including oven, range, pots & pans - Pet-friendly, our dog loved hanging out on the deck. Even had water bowls.What we didn’t love- Beds seem old. Spring mattresses that creak, especially the queen bed downstairs - Hot tub is also old but it works - Towels are old & threadbare - we actually used our own towels that we brought - Pillowcases are scratchy from so many washings, feel cheap. - Washing our own dishes by hand (no dishwasher) - consider bringing disposables if you’re planning many meals.Notes- Used to be managed by other owners who had more rules, like signing the hot tub policy - this is still here but you don’t need to sign it- Plenty of space for our dog to potty- If the price seems right to you, go ahead and book it! |

Old house,but they have kept it up really nice. Upstairs bed was so comfy! They have box fans and a heater in the closet in case u need them and soo many extra towels. Loved the porches with the Christmas light. It was so pretty. Its so cozy we stayed at the house most of the time. I definitely recommend this place.Thank you David! |

We were in town for my girls birthday and we both loved this place for privacy overall and the misty trees in the morning from the deck was awesome! Cabin is really cozy and overall comfortable. We do have one note… what is up with the creepy photo of all those dang sad looking kids from the 1800’s, in the hall it is nightmare fuel! Haha. Kidding of course, was running joke for us which was fun. Stay here for sure if you get a chance! Lovely cabin! |

My wife and I were very satisfied with this unit as well as the entire transaction from contract to check out. We were looking for a few days of peace & quiet as well as enjoying the gorgeous foiliage scenery and that's exactly what we got. What few issues we encountered with the unit were minor and not even close to what we would call deal killers. We are anal about certain things including cleanliness and communication. The host responded to out inquiries very quickly which was very much appreciated. As far as cleanliness, in our humble opinion there might be a cleaner unit somewhere out there in Airbnb land but you would be hard pressed to find it. Bottom line, we would highly recommend this host and their unit(s) for your future Airbnb consideration. |

We would be back again, but I don’t think my back could take it. I believe the beds only had box springs on them, which was fine for my husband, and daughter, although I have back problems and it literally hurt my bones to sleep in those beds. I ended up on the couch a couple nights. Other than that we loved our stay. There was a pretty bad storm over there and the TV went out. I wasn’t familiar with this cable TV and it was late at night. I had to contact David and he responded very quickly, and the TV is back in the time. |

Everything was absolutely amazing. Except! The hot tub was out of order and that was one of our personal requirements when searching for a place to stay. We were not notified before arriving. Everything else was perfect! Extremely well stocked. We needed absolutely nothing but clothes and food. The home was spotless and the property was well maintained. |
