The quiet location was a perfect place to come to at the end of the day. I was in town for work and wanted to stay away from the traffic and noise close to the AVL airport. Penrose was a nice and quiet and not for from Brevard for food and groceries. |

Everything was as described. The rooms were clean. We didn’t use the hot tub. Weill stocked kitchen. Host answered our questions promptly. We had a nice stay. |

We had a wonderful stay! Thank you for sharing your lovely home! It was the perfect location for going out waterfall hunting, Brewery hopping and sightseeing. Breakfast out on the porch was a great start to every morning. Loved being able to run by the local farm market for fresh produce!! And after being out waterfall hiking the Hot Tub was the perfect wind down every night!!! The King bed in the master bedroom was pretty comfy and there were lots of extra linens and towels available. And we loved the extra little desk area off the bedroom, it made a perfect staging area for all of our stuff!!The kitchen and bathrooms could use updates. Loved the old cabinetry, reminds me of my grandma's house, but the countertop, sink fixtures, and floors need some help.And checkout instructions are to wash and dry dishes before leaving, but there was only 1 kitchen towel provided.The couch had almost no support and we kept having to push the cushions back in place. Also one of the chairs on the porch is broken and could be a safety hazard. We did appreciate being able to access a guest account on the TV so we could watch our own TV accounts and not have to log in every day!None of that would deter us from staying here again. We had a wonderful stay and would HIGHLY recommend this house! Side Note: We also recommend the Pisgah Forest Stables for an amazing horse ride! Our trail guide was fantastic!!! |

Super cute cabin. You come in on the bottom floor with the extra family room,queen bedroom and a full bath, small in size but perfect to rinse off before and after the hot tub. Head up the stairs to a roomy living/dining area, kitchen is fully stocked, the view is so pretty and the creek next to the cabin can be heard from both decks. Cabin is close to shopping & restaurants. Will definitely come back. |

The space was perfect for a week get away and the back balcony and porch areas are really incredible. Unfortunately, during a storm, we did have a dead tree fall on my car and break my windshield, so be on the lookout if there are any impending weather conditions! |

Loved this property! David is an excellent host! The few questions we had, he answered very promptly. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything we needed was available. My only minor complaint: there was a dog in the neighborhood that barked all the time. |

A very nice place convenient to cities, sites (waterfalls, etc.), shopping, while still out in the woods. Appreciated that all roads to the place were paved. The host was extremely quick in responding to my inquiries. The calm setting on the porch was perfect for morning coffee, and all day long. Will definitely be going back again. |

I especially appreciated the well stocked dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, bath soap, towels and trash bags. This was a great place for me and my pup, and I had everything I needed for an extended stay. It might be helpful for some to know that the kitchen and main bedroom, and main living room, are located up a flight of stairs (for some that might be problematic). It is an older, rustic type of place, reminiscent of a hunting cabin in the woods, but for a nature lover it was fantastic. The second floor porch is covered and shaded all day long, and the cottage and neighborhood are surrounded by large trees and forest, but access to main roads (hiking, biking, Brevard, Hendersonville etc) is easy. Wifi is strong, and there are two smart TVs with free television included for those who don't use streaming services. David and his caretaker team were great, I highly recommend. |
