This was a great mountain retreat. Loved the 2 living spaces and the hot tub was really nice. It was a nice neighborhood. The house was well stocked and well presented. I loved the porches and watching the brook go by. Very close to great mountain attractions as well as Brevard and Hendersonville. Not too far from a grocery store. Fantastic location. |

our family of 5 had an absolutely amazing time!! my older boys loved being downstairs while my hubby I and the baby stayed upstairs. the hot tub was on point as well as the views from the balcony. we were just a short drive to Brevard Hendersonville, ashville, where there is so much to do! our family would absolutely love to stay again!! |

This cottage was just right for our family vacation. We had more than enough room for the 4 of us. We enjoyed sitting upstairs on the deck enjoying the sounds of nature and the quiet seclusion of the woods. There were tons of games and activities to keep the kids busy, although after a long day out hiking and exploring, they didn’t even need it. The hot tub was enjoyable. My daughter and I used it one evening and it was very relaxing after a day of hiking. It was wonderful having a washer dryer to use as well. The check out process was fairly easy if given enough time in the morning. We followed the instructions in the book, which were to simply empty all garbage into the can outside, strip and remake the beds with the linens provided and start a load of towels. We cleaned all dishes as well, although we didn’t use many. We would definitely stay again. |

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in a beautiful location with waterfalls all around (the reason we came to this area). Older home with lots of beautiful character, enjoyed location & hot tub. Our only complaint was some dishes were not clean and our sheets had dog hair on them. There was clean sheets avaliable so we just switched the sheets out. Overall our experience and stay was wonderful & would stay again. |

Very easy to find; Waze took us right to the house. This house is nestled in the mountains, surrounded by trees. My husband and I and our two dogs settled in upstairs, with the king sized bed, full bath, kitchen, dining, living area, fireplace, and AMAZING view through the sliding glass door. The sliding glass door opens up on to a spacious covered deck/porch. There is a seating area where you can see the creek from, and there is a dining table. We spent 90% of our time out on this porch. The view straight out from the porch is spectacular, lush trees with the mountains peaking through. And that constant sound of water! There are other rentals nearby and in sight when enjoying this outdoor space. Otherwise, a pretty private space. We only went downstairs to access the hot tub and when we needed to take the dogs out. Our only “con” (and really just an inconvenience, not a deal breaker) is the lack of space to take the dogs out. Out of the back door is a trail that leads up to a flat, cleared area with a fire pit. The very steep trail was covered in wet leaves, so you couldn’t tell if there were rocks strategically placed or if you were just supposed to figure out your own way up (either way, it was very slick). So we walked our dogs to the nearest piece of flat land, which is across the street or down the road just a bit). So, not a big deal; just something to make note of. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! |

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at the cabin, and loved the proximity to hiking in Pisgah! The setting was cozy and the hot tub is a welcome addition! Would definitely return if available again. |

This was the second time our family stayed here. We love the location and the tree-top deck. It’s a comfortable cabin with plenty of space for our family of four. There is so much to do nearby and we appreciated the hosts’ suggestions. Mattresses are older and not the most comfortable. We’ll definitely be back though! Thanks for letting us use your place! |

Make sure to check the cabinets as we found lots of board games and such on our last night there. They have some great local info in their folders for guest also including sites to see. restaurants and menus. distances to local breweries. Owners were great to work with and quick to respond to questions |

Overall, great fall getaway! Fantastic location - easy to get to but quiet, close to tons of waterfalls & hiking, & scenic drive to the cottage. Lovely view with a stream and room to spread out inside. Inside could use some updating, but we didn't need to worry about being super careful! |

The stay was great! The cabin was very clean and in a cute little spot pretty centrally located between pisgah forest and hendersonville so it’s not a far drive to food, groceries, gas, etc. They even have a little binder with all the local food spots with some comments on their favorite places. I will reiterate other reviews to say that if you have bad knees or can’t get up stairs very well: the stairs here, inside and outside, are pretty steep and you do need to get upstairs for the kitchen. I will also say that if you’re sensitive to smells, it does have a strong gas smell from the heater and fireplace (not their fault, just a warning!) but if you open the windows (which also allows you to hear the BEAUTIFUL babbling brook right next to it) the smell isn’t bad! All in all, a wonderful spot and I would definitely book here again! Thank you guys for having me! |

We had a wonderful time in Hendersonville and the surrounding area! Staying at the Stoney Brook Cottage was perfect and close to a lot of 'points of interest. It was comfortable and the hot tub was great at the end of long days hiking and sightseeing. |

Clean cozy home nestled among trees was a perfect getaway for quiet & peace. Great location to hiking at national forests, perfect for a day trip to Asheville. Everything was provided by owners, bring a toothbrush & you’re set. Rough kitchen for cooking, small with not much counter space. But fine unless you need to cook a gourmet meal. |
