After my original plans to go to the beach fell through, I made a last-minute change and went to my happy place, otherwise known as Brevard, NC for a mountain biking trip. The Kanto house was a very clean property, with nice, updated appliances, and a clean bathroom. Despite the closeness of the homes in that neighborhood (all the neighborhoods up there) it was very quiet. It was super convenient to town, and a close drive to Pisgah. I didn't take my pups with me, but it has a big, fenced in back yard for them to run had I brought them. Highly recommend the Kanto house! |

We recently had the pleasure of staying at David’s cabin in the woods, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The serene surroundings provided a perfect escape, with the added joy of seeing deer right outside, which thrilled the kids! The cabin itself was impeccably maintained and offered a wealth of amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, which was the perfect spot to unwind while soaking in the beauty of nature. The on-site laundry facilities were a convenient touch, and we greatly appreciated the thoughtful provision of essentials like coffee and toilet paper. David’s place is excellently appointed with a large kitchen, cozy and comfortable living room, and very comfortable beds. The large backyard has great seating on a large deck. The front porch is also a great spot for morning coffee. Perfect for our group of 4. |

Great spot! We really enjoy the space and the river. River bank can be pretty muddy and slick. No problem at all, just nice to bring an extra pair of shoes or a towel. |

We had tickets to hear Keith Lockhart conduct the Brevard Symphony. Rather than board our cavalier spaniel we chose a dog friendly Brbo. KantoHouse was perfect. We were there a short time but the house was very well equipped. Hope to come again so our dog can really enjoy the wonderful fenced back yard. |

Absolutely gorgeous landscape! Plenty of space for our pup to run and swim! Would absolutely recommend! We couldn't get the gate lock to work (likely user error), so we followed the alternate instructions and walked around it! Easy to find and so worth your time! |

The cabin was excellent all the way around! Very close to our family that live in Brevard and to Pisgah National Forest. I especially appreciated the well stocked dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, bath soap, towels and trash bags. This is our second visit here and we will be back! The hosts are gracious and pickup trash and make sure the hot tub was clean. There is a lot to do in the area and we plan on returning every summer and maybe try a visit in the fall. |
