Just the right distance away from several things (Brevard, Etowah, trailheads in the ranger district of Pisgah, etc.) so you can get to places in all directions easily. Our favorite part of the cabin was sitting on the porch and taking in peaceful mornings and evenings. Everything was great; it didn't feel like you were in a pristine home where you couldn't relax |

Loved staying here! My boyfriend and I went up with our dogs for a couple of days to hike and explore the local breweries/vineyards. It's an extremely dog friendly, chill area with great food options. The cottage was cozy, warm, and homey. The little side fenced area for the dogs was great, so they didn't have to be walked to do their business. The neighborhood was gorgeous and very quiet and David was a great, responsive host. |

A very clean, cozy house in a quiet neighborhood. Large fenced yard with picnic table and nice deck. Close to downtown and great places to eat. Pisgah Forrest is close by with lots of outdoor activities. Downtown areas have great shops and restaurants. Everyone was so nice. You cant go wrong with this amazing house and beautiful area. |

We had the most wonderful stay at this property. Our dog enjoyed the yard, we enjoyed the hot tub and close proximity to Brevard, Hendersonville and DuPont national park. If there is anything negative to say about the property it would be the lack of blinds in all the rooms and the bed was pretty hard. It wasn’t enough to make us not want to stay again. The place was super clean and had everything that we would need. |

We loved our stay! The house is very peaceful, just off the road. Easy to find and parking. WIFI worked great. The three bedrooms worked out great for my family. My dog loves the yard! We didn't use the hot tub but it was a nice addition. AC worked great. Very cozy and clean. Would highly recommend. |

This was my first stay with air bnb and I was so grateful for the experience at this cottage. Beautiful calm nature experience. Exactly what my family needed. My pups were in heaven! The fenced in yard was very secure. The place was clean with clear instructions throughout! We found a paper with a few rainy day suggestions close by and we took my daughter to a nearby gem mining place and had a blast! This vacation was about being close to my grandparents and the peace that came with this rental allowed for a beautiful visit for our whole family! My daughter wanted me to add she was “grateful for the games left in the drawer and the place was really nice!” I will be looking to rent again in the future and so excited to see other spaces by these hosts! |

Nice spot to let the dogs run and cool off in the river also. The wooded area is pretty flat with open visibility. The beach area can be muddy from all the dog traffic. Bring towels and know your pups might get a little dirty ???? |

1st time using Vrbo. And David represented, coming back to Vrbo or maybe even trying David's property a few more times. Loved it!Accurate, neat, remote from people and quiet, yet only 10 min to grocery stores and things. Jacuzzi was nice and was a blessing since I pulled my back a bit hiking ;)Furniture is nicely covered w pleasant material (my doggy does not get on couches, but its a nice touch).Close to hiking and so many nature destinations.We even went for a night hike at 4AM and we were able to leave and get back in the dark to the cabin.Thanks David, and bless you!ilya i. and Aries :) |

Had a very pleasant stay at Blue smoke cottage. The cabin is beautifully decorated both rustic and elegant and that it had everything a person needed to make their stay comfortable and pleasant. Loved the decor and all the amenities. Would have been nice to have some directions on how to work the TVs as us technically challenged ladies didn't figure it out till day two. David was a very good host, was always pleasant and quick to respond to any questions I had. Thank you for such a pleasant vacation. |
