This home is close to Brevard area, lots of hiking trails, and many food options to experience. I appreciated the extra bowls and supplies for my dogs; the quiet surroundings made them feel relaxed. We had a great stay for all our mountain biking adventures. The overhang/car port was great for cleaning and maintaining our bikes. I was a little disappointed there wasn’t a real coffee maker (after I asked) because Keurig’s are inconvenient for those that drink at least a pot of coffee a day. Other than that it provided everything we needed! |

The Wild Rock Cabin is an amazing place to stay! Great location to many hiking trails and waterfalls. Communication with the host was great and I highly recommend staying there if you are in the Penrose area. |

We love the Honeybee Haven! We've been coming here for years and always feel right at home. The house is secluded from neighbors so feels like we're in the woods but actually being close to Dupont Park, Brevard, Hendersonville and Asheville makes this a perfect location! |

My wife and I are 75/74 and have been visiting Western NC for the last 3 years several times each year, and except for the first time, have always stayed at cabins through VRBO and the other one. Each time we mention how much we liked the place, and this time was no exception. It rained for several days and it was enjoyable to sit out on the front porch and have our breakfast while watching and listening to the light rain. In the morning, we would both do a quick rinse off and soak our old bones in the hot tub before getting going - a nice treat. The cabin was easy to get to and all roads leading to it were paved, not always the case. I did have to learn to rely on my mirror backup camera to navigate getting out but we have a full-size pickup, which is sometimes a little large to maneuver. The location was great and bascially a short drive to Hendersonville and Brevard as well as the Dupont Forest and Pisgah Forest. This was probably our best choice so far and communicaiton (I did have one or two questions) was fast and clear and can't ask more than that! |

It was an instant plan to this place and we booked it as soon as we looke at the pictures. At first we were skepticla when we found this place and we were still skeptical until we stepped into the space and man what a lovely space it was!! The first thing we did was take a deep peaceful and relaxing inhale loolking at thr immense beauty and aura of the space. It was like a much awaited space welcoming us after a quite stressful month we had. We quickly move our stuff inside, took a nice relaxing shower and jumped into the hot tub with light music on our side and turned out the jets and thats it we were lost in the space, travelling unparalleld distances of calmness and we even forgot to open pur eyes for an hour. Man I cant stop describing our experience. As we are into the woods and wanted to see if we can notice wildlife at some point but you guys made sure we have a replica of black bears at your place especially in the living area as well as the porch. Thank you & will cm bck!! |
