My husband and I came to Honeybee Haven for a weekend getaway. This cozy cabin was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located a short drive from Pisgah National Forest, DuPont Recreational Forest, and downtown Brevard. The area is quiet, and the front porch was perfect for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. We spent the weekend hiking and exploring Brevard, and Honeybee Haven was a wonderful home base for our explorations. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the tools we needed to cook our own meals, and the washer and dryer were very handy for ensuring we had fresh clothes for an extra day of hiking. Honeybee Haven is a charming cabin and we look forward to returning soon! |

The little bungalow was nestled against the mountain side with small creek running beside the porch that allowed for a peaceful soak in hot tub while listening to the acorns fall from the trees . The house was well stocked and comfy and clean. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. |

Great setting, next to small, rocky stream, surrounded by large, old rhododendrons. Should be gorgeous when they bloom in June. Cabin was spotless, well-equipped and homey. Easy to understand signage throughout cabin, explaining how everything worked, was much appreciated. Host responded clearly and quickly to all questions. Hot tub with plenty of towels felt like a luxury after the drive from the Triangle area. |

Very enjoyable in all the ways. Can’t say anything bad about it. The only FYI I have is if you travel in more than one vehicle or pulling a trailer you will have trouble as it is truly tucked away and almost on top of the mountain. Turn around with trailer would be almost impossible. That is the only thing absolutely loved everything else. |

We had a great stay at the Kanto House! I grew up playing Nintendo systems, so the decorations were very nostalgic. Everything was as advertised, and the hosts were very responsive to questions. We didn't find the short clean-up list (to keep the discounted rate) to be difficult or burdensome at all. The location in Brevard was very convenient! |

Loved staying here with my toddler, mom, and dog! Super peaceful and quiet area. I slept with just the screen door so I could listen to the creek each night. Affordable, clean, hosts are incredibly kind and easy to message. The gates on the porch made it super easy to contain my toddler too! 10/10 |

David's cabin is absolutely wonderful! Surrounded by trees on a peaceful street. Only a few minutes drive to some of the best waterfalls in DuPont! Easy to get in to town for supplies. The cabin was super clean and fully stocked. We had no problem with the very simple check-out instructions. We look forward to staying again soon! |

Location was far from traffic & quiet, but close to local attractions (State Parks, waterfalls, Hendersonville.) We enjoyed the local produce stand & porch swing! Like the Three Bears, seating was either too hard (kitchen area) or too soft (living room area.) Hosts were excellent. |

We had a wonderful stay! Thank you for sharing your lovely home! It was the perfect location for going out waterfall hunting, Brewery hopping and sightseeing. Breakfast out on the porch was a great start to every morning. Loved being able to run by the local farm market for fresh produce!! And after being out waterfall hiking the Hot Tub was the perfect wind down every night!!! The King bed in the master bedroom was pretty comfy and there were lots of extra linens and towels available. And we loved the extra little desk area off the bedroom, it made a perfect staging area for all of our stuff!!The kitchen and bathrooms could use updates. Loved the old cabinetry, reminds me of my grandma's house, but the countertop, sink fixtures, and floors need some help.And checkout instructions are to wash and dry dishes before leaving, but there was only 1 kitchen towel provided.The couch had almost no support and we kept having to push the cushions back in place. Also one of the chairs on the porch is broken and could be a safety hazard. We did appreciate being able to access a guest account on the TV so we could watch our own TV accounts and not have to log in every day!None of that would deter us from staying here again. We had a wonderful stay and would HIGHLY recommend this house! Side Note: We also recommend the Pisgah Forest Stables for an amazing horse ride! Our trail guide was fantastic!!! |
