My boyfriend and his parents stayed here for a trail run we had in town. We all thought the protest was exactly as it shows online. It was clean and easy to get in and out of. Very close to the town and would definitely recommend. Will stay here again when coming back to town! Only thing we would mention, was that outside by the fenced in portion, there’s no lights (like a flood light) so taking the dog out to the bathroom at night we used our phone flash light. Could be beneficial to add in a small outdoor light if possible. Really enjoyed our stay! |

David's place was lovely. The brook nearby was a relaxing sound. The hot tub was clean and a lot of fun. The inside had everything we could need and was spacious. We loved the various porches/decks. The drive was easy and parking was convenient. We would definitely stay here again for another weekend getaway. |

We really enjoyed our stay at Pisgah Shadows Cottage. Everything was as described and better. The neighborhood was quiet and close to DuPont State Park & other parks. The fenced in area was great for our dog. We would stay again when we visit the area. |

We were evacuated due to wildfires and needed a place to stay for a couple nights to regroup. The house was very clean and smelled nice when we got there. Very comfortable. Definitely pet friendly. |

The location couldn’t have been better, everything was in a 1-3 mile radius. The yard was definitely a huge plus. It’s a cute little place, perfect for a short getaway, it has a fully equipped kitchen, the bed was comfortable, and there was a carport. The carpets inside could use some shampooing though. |

It’s easy to find if you read the info provided. I took my 1 dog to scope the place out and discovered that it would be an awesome place for him and a friend or two to visit again in the future. As mentioned, no fences so keep that in mind. There’s a beach, trails and open areas! ???????? |

We loved our stay at this adorable mountain cottage! We came to hike and see the waterfalls that Brevard is known for. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5 … plenty of space, three outdoor areas to enjoy the quiet woods and babbling brook right next to the cottage. We enjoyed the hot tub every night and sitting on the porch to sip coffee in the mornings. Very clean, has a well equipped kitchen, plenty of extra towels and towels for the hot tub as well. Laundry conveniently located. Comfy beds and pillows and everything we needed.Locally, we had a great meal and drinks at Ecusta Brewery (less than 20 min away) and had beautiful hikes to the Pisagah National Forest and DuPont State Recreational Forest. Highlights were: Looking Glass Falls, Triple Falls, Hooker Falls, High Falls, and Moore Cove Falls. Brevard has a lovely downtown and we enjoyed the pizza at Big Mike’s and sweet treats and coffee at the Bracken Mountain Bakery. We highly recommend this cottage and a visit to this beautiful part of the Blue Ridge Mountain range! |

We had a great time! The place was perfect and had everything we needed. The kids got in the hot tub every day we were there. They enjoyed jumping on the rocks in the creek to the side of the house. Everything was neat and tidy. It stayed a perfect temperature inside too. Amazing location! 20 min from downtown Brevard and pisgah forest. We drove through blue ridge and got to see some waterfalls. Would totaly do it all over again. Hosts were quick at answering all questions we had. Thank you so much for a great vacation for our family. |

Close proximity to Brevard, Hendersonville, and DuPont trails make this a perfect home base for day-to-day activities! Will definitely consider staying again if we find ourselves back in the area! |

Loved the hot tub after long days of mountain hiking and exploring. Upon arrival, the cabin had no power due to a storm that came through the area earlier that day but it came back on the next day thankfully. David communicated well through this process! After the first day, the cabin lived up to expectations. It was in a secluded area but close enough to town, hiking trails, and the state park. it was great place to kick back after hiking all day and the hot tub was an added bonus and the sound of the creek made it even better. |

What a pleasant surprise! David's place was even better than the pictures. It was cozy, clean & the beds were comfortable. Loved the gas fireplace in the cold evenings. Good wifi. The hot tub was fantastic after hiking for 5 hrs. The soft lighting & beautiful views from the porch were so relaxing, peacefull & quiet. The kitchen was spacious & well stocked with many extra amenities to help you feel right at home. Highly recommend David's place. |

We had an amazing stay at Pisgah Shadows! The home was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing week. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials and the small details like the folded towel sets on the end of each bed was a nice touch. The hot tub was a huge plus and was clean and well maintained. We also loved the fully fenced yard, which was perfect for our dogs to run and play safely. The location was great. David and Darla were very responsive. Check out Bear8.Com, they have a Sniff Spot that you can rent hourly to take your dog to run and play. We didn't get a chance this time but we will definitely give that a try next time. Overall, Pisgah Shadows exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend! |

If you are looking for a perfect get-a-way then Falling Waters is your respite. Situated on a rushing and cascading little mountain stream the sound of Falling waters certainly holds up to her namesake. The host has a generous amount of signage so that you guest know everything needed to have an enjoyable stay. The Hottub is clean and the chemicals well balanced, linens and towels fresh with the smells of mountain air. But the real gem here is being able to sit on the back porch and listen to nothing but the sounds of nature while Falling Waters clear your mind and allow you to reconnect with silence.
