We loved our stay at this adorable mountain cottage! We came to hike and see the waterfalls that Brevard is known for. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5 … plenty of space, three outdoor areas to enjoy the quiet woods and babbling brook right next to the cottage. We enjoyed the hot tub every night and sitting on the porch to sip coffee in the mornings. Very clean, has a well equipped kitchen, plenty of extra towels and towels for the hot tub as well. Laundry conveniently located. Comfy beds and pillows and everything we needed.Locally, we had a great meal and drinks at Ecusta Brewery (less than 20 min away) and had beautiful hikes to the Pisagah National Forest and DuPont State Recreational Forest. Highlights were: Looking Glass Falls, Triple Falls, Hooker Falls, High Falls, and Moore Cove Falls. Brevard has a lovely downtown and we enjoyed the pizza at Big Mike’s and sweet treats and coffee at the Bracken Mountain Bakery. We highly recommend this cottage and a visit to this beautiful part of the Blue Ridge Mountain range! |

We had a great time! The place was perfect and had everything we needed. The kids got in the hot tub every day we were there. They enjoyed jumping on the rocks in the creek to the side of the house. Everything was neat and tidy. It stayed a perfect temperature inside too. Amazing location! 20 min from downtown Brevard and pisgah forest. We drove through blue ridge and got to see some waterfalls. Would totaly do it all over again. Hosts were quick at answering all questions we had. Thank you so much for a great vacation for our family. |

We had a wonderful time during our stay at this cabin! The hot tub was incredible and relaxing with the sounds of the small creek flowing by. Close proximity to Brevard, Hendersonville, and DuPont trails make this a perfect home base for day-to-day activities! Will definitely consider staying again if we find ourselves back in the area! |

My husband and I stayed last fall, came back this spring with our 2 college guys for Spring Break. Enjoyed being able to have our furry friends with us and the convenience of the fenced yard. Loved the hot tub after long days of mountain hiking and exploring. Great location to so many things, yet peaceful and lulled by the brook behind the house.Thanks for a great get-away for the family! |

Upon arrival, the cabin had no power due to a storm that came through the area earlier that day but it came back on the next day thankfully. David communicated well through this process! After the first day, the cabin lived up to expectations. It was in a secluded area but close enough to town, hiking trails, and the state park. it was great place to kick back after hiking all day and the hot tub was an added bonus and the sound of the creek made it even better. |

What a pleasant surprise! David's place was even better than the pictures. It was cozy, clean & the beds were comfortable. Loved the gas fireplace in the cold evenings. Good wifi. The hot tub was fantastic after hiking for 5 hrs. The soft lighting & beautiful views from the porch were so relaxing, peacefull & quiet. The kitchen was spacious & well stocked with many extra amenities to help you feel right at home. Highly recommend David's place. |

We had an amazing stay at Pisgah Shadows! The home was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing week. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials and the small details like the folded towel sets on the end of each bed was a nice touch. The hot tub was a huge plus and was clean and well maintained. We also loved the fully fenced yard, which was perfect for our dogs to run and play safely. The location was great. David and Darla were very responsive. Check out Bear8.Com, they have a Sniff Spot that you can rent hourly to take your dog to run and play. We didn't get a chance this time but we will definitely give that a try next time. Overall, Pisgah Shadows exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend! |

If you are looking for a perfect get-a-way then Falling Waters is your respite. Situated on a rushing and cascading little mountain stream the sound of Falling waters certainly holds up to her namesake. The host has a generous amount of signage so that you guest know everything needed to have an enjoyable stay. The Hottub is clean and the chemicals well balanced, linens and towels fresh with the smells of mountain air. But the real gem here is being able to sit on the back porch and listen to nothing but the sounds of nature while Falling Waters clear your mind and allow you to reconnect with silence. Do yourself the favor and book today, you will not be disappointed. |

This spot is perfect for letting dogs explore and jump in the water. It’s closed off enough that I didn’t feel like I needed to worry about my dog running somewhere she shouldn’t. I would suggest having good verbal control over your dog as there are some water areas that I didn’t want her getting into and there is a road close enough that you really don’t want your dog sprinting in that direction. |

My dog had an absolute blast!! He loved zooming down to the water, running back up the incline, then weaving through the trees. He worse himself out quick! It’s clear that there’s some construction happening on the property but there were no other people around during our visit. |
