Very nice cabin in a great location. Easy to get to. Easy parking. Baseboard heat went out and David came to fix the same day. Gas fireplace worked great in the meantime. We enjoyed staying here. |

It was quiet, comfortable and enough like home for us to be able to take care of our infant daughter in a setting that was as good as home. Having a full kitchen and laundry access was a huge plus. The hot tub and secluded location was what finally made the decision for us and it was well worth it. |

Having lived in the mountains many years ago, this cabin was everything I expected it to be. The pics accurately show a small cabin tucked away in the woods, perfect for a writing retreat. Though it’s small, there’s plenty of room for four guests. Don’t expect wide open views of snowy mountains in the distance because this cabin is truly tucked away. It’s perfect for anyone wanting to shut out the world for a while. |

The cabin is beautiful and cozy and the creek and woods are lovely and private. It is a cozy, warm place to spend winter nights, especially with the hot tub on the porch. It's a quiet, remote location but isn't hard to find. The one negative is the extra cleaning fee, on top of the cleaning fee charged when booking the place, if all of the extras aren't done. |

The DuPont Cottage was even better in person than the photos. The rooms were small, yet cozy and clean. Each room was inviting and beautifully decorated. It was so peaceful and quiet. Somewhere throughout the process, I missed the checkout procedures. Unlike other Airbnbs we've stayed before, instructions were not in a notebook on the counter. However, David said they were posted in picture frames on the wall. When I read COVID Cleaning Instructions, I did not read any further since in other Airbnbs those instructions were about how the rental agency had thoroughly taken extra precautions. In the end, it doesn't change the beauty of the cottage or the peacefulness of the trip; just beware there is an extra fee for not following instructions. |

I'm so happy we stayed here. I felt so comfy and at ease the 7 days we stayed. I've never been so cozy in a space! The little fireplace, the simple little thermostats in each bedroom, we felt perfectly warm and toasty, and in control of our ambient temperature, which is so nice for a winter vacay. everything was *so* clean. kitchen well equipped. when we first entered, my nose picked up the crisp clean "lack of odor" sensation : ) including lack of any cleanser or perfume smell. just clean. The wraparound porch is awesome and welcoming, with the beautiful waterfall. the hot tub was lovely ! our dog was always safe within the porch gates , which added to a heavenly feeling of getting to let go and relax. we will always remember it, and well be back ! the couch needs replaced, it's sunken in. we used our own feather mattress we'd brought with us, to help pad it. that worked! the small love seat is fine. |

David's place was perfectly located close to DuPont State Forest, Asheville, Chimney Rock, and more. Everything was exactly as portrayed here. David was also very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! :) |

This is our 2nd year staying in one of our hosts' properties. We immediately felt at home in this cozy cabin. It rained our entire stay, but hanging out in the hot tub on the deck or in front of the fireplace was perfect for us. Our 2 small dogs had a nice fenced back yard for them to explore. The small Christmas tree and white lights on the deck made the place magical. The mattress was comfortable and bedding of high quality. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and equipment. We highly recommend this home and hope to return next year for our anniversary. |

This place was excellent. I took a solo trip to get a change of scenery. I’ve stayed in many cabins in the area and this is hands down one of my faves. Easy to get to and SAFE. The driveway is not as steep as I imagined based on other reviews. I have a very low sports car and had no issues coming or going. The hot tub is spotless. The cabin also spotless. It’s quiet and this particular cabin is at the top of the road so it’s super private. The tvs and Wi-Fi are easy to use and the bathroom is spacious. I have nothing negative to say about this spot I absolutely hope and plan to return. Also - the hosts were responsive. I had a question about the fireplace and in no time they got back to me. I wish I owned a place like this. Don’t hesitate to book! |

We loved staying here! It’s nestled in the woods, but there are some neighbors so it is not too isolating. The creek was beautiful and the peaceful noise made the whole place welcoming. We will definitely have to come back! |

Great place to stay for a DuPont state forest hunt!! Amazing on the inside, it had everything we needed. Forewarning, the cell phone signal and Wi-Fi are a little lacking. |

We loved our stay! The location is convenient for a day trip to Asheville or the Biltmore, but we preferred exploring the small towns closer to the cabin. We are already looking forward to a trip back! |

We had an excellent visit! The house was cozy and comfortable. Little older but clean. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the light cleaning expected at check out to avoid a $50 fee-strip and remake beds, start a load of towels, take out trash, wash dishes. That was unexpected. |

Great location if you want to visit DuPont or Mr Pisgah. The cabin is perfect for one couple, would be ok for a small family or group. The hot tub on the porch was private & just what we needed after a day of hiking! Kitchen was well stocked, bed was comfy. |

My Fiance' and I wanted to get away and just relax, and this was the Place! Beautiful area, close to Brevard, Hendersonville, Dupont Forest and Pisgah Forest. Cabin was private, quiet neighborhood, clean and the owners thought of everything that you might need for your stay. Just bring your clothes and toothbrush. Oh and we can't forget the Hot Tub relaxed in it every night ...yes even in the 30 degree weather! Loved it and we will be back!! |

Our second stay there. We will be back for a third in the spring. Your right in the middle travel wise from DuPont and pisgah. About 8 ish miles for all your hiking or biking. Nothing fancy just a nice little cabin with everything you’d need for a vacation. Especially the hot tub and fenced in area for the puppers |
