This property is conveniently located and certainly has all the amenities needed, including washer and dryer. I would highly recommend this home for groups larger than just 2 people as it had tons of space! Beautiful home, neighborhood, and yard, including fenced in space perfect for dogs. We didn't utilize the hot tub, but it certainly looked warm and inviting! Location perfect for access to Pisgah and Dupont and easy drives to Hendersonville and Brevard. Highly recommend! |

our family of 5 had an absolutely amazing time!! my older boys loved being downstairs while my hubby I and the baby stayed upstairs. the hot tub was on point as well as the views from the balcony. we were just a short drive to Brevard Hendersonville, ashville, where there is so much to do! our family would absolutely love to stay again!! |

The DuPont Cottage was absolutely perfect! It was clean upon arrival and the location was great for accessing DuPont, Brevard, and even Hendersonville. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings and at night. We had an adorable dog come visit us on Saturday morning while enjoying coffee on the porch. He added excitement to our trip :) The grill was a nice bonus, too. Thank you for making our trip memorable! We will be back soon! |

Great house, excellent communication. Location was awesome. Minutes to groceries and restaurants and breweries. Very short drive to great hikes, numerous waterfalls and good fishing on the Davidson River. |

This cottage was just right for our family vacation. We had more than enough room for the 4 of us. We enjoyed sitting upstairs on the deck enjoying the sounds of nature and the quiet seclusion of the woods. There were tons of games and activities to keep the kids busy, although after a long day out hiking and exploring, they didn’t even need it. The hot tub was enjoyable. My daughter and I used it one evening and it was very relaxing after a day of hiking. It was wonderful having a washer dryer to use as well. The check out process was fairly easy if given enough time in the morning. We followed the instructions in the book, which were to simply empty all garbage into the can outside, strip and remake the beds with the linens provided and start a load of towels. We cleaned all dishes as well, although we didn’t use many. We would definitely stay again. |

The cabin was just what we needed. I wish we could have stayed longer! I LOVED all of the artwork (so much so that I found out where it came from and ordered some of the pieces) and all of the woodwork. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great amenity! It was nice to get away even for a day and a half. Very relaxing environment. |

This private cabin is exactly as it looks in the listing. The kitchen is well equipped, hot tub is perfect and the cleaning requirements are minimal on check-out. The best part is closing the gate on the charming front porch and allowing my dog to just chill with me and wait for a lovely sunset. This shady location is a respite from the summer heat. |

If you are looking for peace & quiet, look no further than this sweet cabin! The owner was very easy to communicate with…the cabin is tucked back in the trees & the 3 decks all offer a wonderful place to sit & listen to the brook that runs beside it…plus there is a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day! This cabin is very clean & has everything you need to be comfortable! We will definitely stay here again! |

The location of Wild Rock Cottage was great for easy access to Pisgah national forest and a reasonable distance from nearby Asheville. We will definitely return for a stay at Wild Rock Cottage! The location is outstanding, the cottage is beautiful, and it was very clean and comfy! It was very convenient to have the washer and dryer, and although we didn’t use the hot tub, it looked very warm and inviting. I would also like to note the speedy communication that we had when we reached out to John about a minor maintenance issue which he resolved post-haste. The Wild Rock Cottage was quickly our home away from home. It was very comfortable for our family of four. I can’t say enough about it’s beautiful mountain side location and proximity to most of the area attractions. Less than a half hour drive to several natural attractions and the enchanting town of Brevard, NC. We intentionally skipped over visiting a few sites in order to have a reason to return to the cottage. We will be back. |

We enjoyed our stay at David's Dupont cabin. The cabin was just the right size for our group of three. It was clean and met our needs well. The description that it was seconds away from Dupont was a bit misleading, however. Dupont is approximately 4 miles and would be difficult to walk or bike to because you have to walk or bike on a main road which does not have a bike lane or shoulder to walk on. If there was an alternate route, information for the alternate route was not available. Anyone booking with David, be AWARE that although you pay an up front cleaning fee of $75 if you do not follow the posted COVID-19 procedures to the LETTER you can be charged an additional cleaning fee of $50 to $125 and part of the requirements is that you have to strip the beds and re-make the beds with the linens provided before you leave. |

This is the 4th year we have stayed at the cabin. It is clean , comfortable and well maintained ! It is at the top of a very steep hill so it quiet and you feel you are in the middle of the forest (just with a hot tub!) We will be back next year!!! |

This is a nice and clean house. It feels fairly new and is perfectly comfortable for 2 adults and 1 child or 2 couples. My son and I were visiting DuPont to mountain bike and although it’s a 2.5 mile road ride to the first accessible trail head, you can indeed “bike to DuPont”. Very convenient for outdoor activities. Unfortunately, the host has “Covid-19” cleaning regulations upon check out that unless followed to the tee, assesses a $50 fee. We put fresh lines on the beds, started the towels in the laundry, did the dishes, and cleaned the house and kitchen (disinfected the counters and table). Because we didn’t put the dishes away and left them to dry in the rack (since we had just used them) and didn’t make the beds to his standards, he charged us the $50 on those technicalities. Beware! Calling this cleaning process a “Covid-19” protocol is a bit egregious. If guest safety was the real concern for the host, why would having the previous guest do the bulk of the cleaning duties be considered safe? A masked and gloved professional would be a safer alternative. This should also be stipulated as part of the check out process before the guests arrive. |

Nice little place, but not too small. 5 stars for being exactly what it says it is, and really good about it. Like, the listing says it has a coffee pot, and sure enough, it has a Keurig that makes single cups or a pot. The coffee mugs were quality too. Towels and linens were of good quality, not cheap. The mattresses were comfortable. Everything was really clean and well kept. etc.. I can't think of anything regarding the cabin to nit-pick, so it gets 5 stars. This is all in the context of how much we used the cabin. We were pretty much only there to shower, sleep, and drink coffee. The rest of our time was spent out and about. |

We stayed here for over a month while looking for our permanent home. We were very comfortable here. The neighborhood is very eclectic which we liked. We really like the location. We had our beloved family dog with us, so the fenced in side yard was perfect. The kitchen is small but nicely equipped. The enclosed porch on the back of the house was a great place for extra storage. The property manager (Bear 8 Rentals) was great to work with. We ended up extending our stay and moving to another property which they manage (Hilltop Cottage). |
