The Kanto House was great! Alot of thought went into this quaint little house with a great backyard. We loved how close to Brevard and the Dupont forest the house was and the little neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. |

Really cool theme to the house with great hosts that respond quickly to questions. Convenient location if you’re wanting to drive into Pisgah National Forest or even drive into downtown Brevard. Also, the location makes for an easy day trip to Asheville as well. |

It was a great little cabin that had great views of the mountains. It was pretty accurate about the kitchen materials and items that the cabin had. The location was a little far from Asheville. It was about a 40-45 minute drive to downtown Asheville and it was a drive that wasn’t comfortable in the dark. Great little stay though. |

The host proivided a wonderful place to stay. Everything is up to date yet still having that old mountain cabin feel. It was an extremely clean and private location with all the amenities one could want for a moutain escape weekend. We hope to stay again. |

Nice place for a short stay! It’s small (totally fine for our family of 4) and pretty far from things (30+ minutes to get to south Asheville), so I don’t think we’d want to stay for longer than a few days. The shower head sprayed out the top while we were there; if it isn’t fixed, our tip is to put a washcloth over the joint, which helps keep the bathroom from getting soaked. The Covid cleaning rules ask you to not just strip the beds but remake them—and if you don’t (along with a few other minor things), you’ll be charged an extra $50. That’s a little much, in my opinion, especially considering that there’s already a $75 cleaning fee. But overall, we had a pleasant stay. As others have mentioned, the road to the cabin is narrow and steep in points; it might be difficult to navigate in snow and/or ice. |

It was a very cozy mountain cabin! The cabin itself felt very private and the hot tub was fantastic. There’s a lot of great breweries minutes away, and Asheville was only a quick 40 minute drive. Loved our stay! Enjoyed every minute of it. |

This place is really comfy. We went in Dec so were able to take advantage of the hot tub. Boy is that nice on cold evenings. The place is a little small but would be fine for a family of 4 or 5. Very close to Brevard, Hendersonville and Ashville. It is a very private cabin with a steep drive up but remember it is in the mountains. Wifi, Netflix and Prime all worked well. We also have Verizon phones and the service was very good at the cabin. All kinds of great hiking trails within minutes of the cabin as well as places to eat and see. Would definitely return to this cozy place. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Cottage. It was everything we expected and more. The cottage was clean and well equipped. We loved the comfort of the home, and really appreciated the screened porch and fence area for our dog. We would definitely stay there again. |

The cabin was in a nice, quaint nice part of the mountain. The cabin was very comfortable and homey. Any hygiene or comfort items you needed, were supplied. It was neat and tidy. The hot tub was amazing!! I would also add it’s hard finding nice houses that allows our fur babies to join us on our vac. With that being said if you rent a pet friendly place please pick up after your dogs mess. It’s not the homeowners responsible it’s ours the renters. |

The cottage was exactly as advertised. The fireplace was warm and cozy!The hot tub was fantastic! Loved the open floor plan of the living room/kitchen. The cottage was easy to find with our GPS. Downtown Brevard was just a short drive away. We visited several waterfalls that were close by also. We look forward to planning another trip soon! |

Always a pleasure to come to this little mountain cabin. It’s always stocked with everything you need (TP, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc) which for some cabins I’ve been to, is unheard of. David has always been accommodating to us & because of that we will always be back eventually. Thanks for helping my family have another wonderfully peaceful vacation. We can’t wait to come back. |

Overall, great fall getaway! Fantastic location - easy to get to but quiet, close to tons of waterfalls & hiking, & scenic drive to the cottage. Lovely view with a stream and room to spread out inside. Inside could use some updating, but we didn't need to worry about being super careful! |

The stay was great! The cabin was very clean and in a cute little spot pretty centrally located between pisgah forest and hendersonville so it’s not a far drive to food, groceries, gas, etc. They even have a little binder with all the local food spots with some comments on their favorite places. I will reiterate other reviews to say that if you have bad knees or can’t get up stairs very well: the stairs here, inside and outside, are pretty steep and you do need to get upstairs for the kitchen. I will also say that if you’re sensitive to smells, it does have a strong gas smell from the heater and fireplace (not their fault, just a warning!) but if you open the windows (which also allows you to hear the BEAUTIFUL babbling brook right next to it) the smell isn’t bad! All in all, a wonderful spot and I would definitely book here again! Thank you guys for having me! |

Wild Rock Cottage is perched on a beautiful vista looking out over the French Broad river valley. Check-in was very easy and the cottage had the proper amenities for a weekend stay. Let's not forget the hot tub on the porch with mountain views.... so great :) |
