Loved staying at this cabin! As others have said it feels very private yet is close to so many attractions (DuPont state forest, Hendersonville, Brevard, Blue Ridge a mountains, etc.). The cabin feels very spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. One small detail that dog owners will appreciate: the front deck has a gate so you can sit out with your pup off leash. It had snowed before we arrived and the road to the cabin was plowed which was very nice. I would definitely stay here again! |

The Babbling Brook cottage is a must stay to get away from the world, but still be close enough to everything the area has to offer. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the views were great. We will definitely be return visitors! |

We enjoyed this cabin so much and the addition of snow during our stay added extra ambience. Well stocked kitchen. As one reviewer mentioned the hot tub, a drink, and the sound of the creek are amazing. Very pet friendly as well. The little fenced off area for them is nice. We would return and hope to soon! |

This is a great place to stay for a fun weekend in the mountains! We actually got to enjoy some snow and our pups loved it! Just a quick 35 minute drive to downtown Asheville! |

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. Plenty of towels and washcloths in bathroom. Also, owner had plenty of supplies (kitchen and cleaning) to get you started, which was a nice touch. The hot tub was relaxing. Enjoyed the area off the back porch that allowed you to get dry and chairs to enjoy the beautiful view off the back. The only thing missing to me in the kitchen was a hand mixer. The area is rural, but you have nearby Etowah (10 min. drive) for some restaurants and grocery store (Ingles). Brevard is 15 mins. away for more attractions, restaurants, stores, etc. Had some issues, but owner was quick to address problems. Would come back again! |

Very nice accommodations. Kitchen well equipped, linens and towels nice quality. Furniture comfy. Nestled in a little valley, but not too far from hiking, great views and town. Town had few very nice little museums and lots to explore. Was a perfect getaway locale and dogs loved it too. |

The location could not be better but plan on bringing good cooking utensils if you intend to do any serious cooking. This house was the perfect place to get snowed in! |

Myself, hubby and 5 year old son plus two fur babies enjoyed our mini escape to Hendersonville before Christmas to unwind and relax. This cottage provided much needed R&R from the hot tub on the deck to the fireplace watching movies. We appreciated a fenced in yard to keep our dogs safe and happy to roam about. Host was quick to respond when we needed anything. Will be back for more memories. |

Loved my stay! The fireplace and hot tub were great for the cold weather. The only downside is the place is a bit drafty and doesn't seem to be well insulated - there was lots of condensation on windows and doors when it got cold. But the hosts were very responsive when I had questions and the location is great for hiking - I stayed for 2 weeks and went on a different hike every day. And having the washer and dryer was very convenient. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again! |

Wild Rock Cottage provides the rustic vibe in a great location. The driveway is steep, but paved to get you to the cabin safely. You will not have any questions during your stay, since every item has instructions included. |

Beautiful, modern, and clean home for a great price! The hot tub was an awesome bonus!! We didn’t find shampoo or body wash, which wasn’t a big deal and I assume was due to the pandemic, so I would suggest to bring your own. Would definitely stay again next time we visit Asheville!! |

Really cool theme to the house with great hosts that respond quickly to questions. Convenient location if you’re wanting to drive into Pisgah National Forest or even drive into downtown Brevard. Also, the location makes for an easy day trip to Asheville as well. |

It was a great little cabin that had great views of the mountains. It was pretty accurate about the kitchen materials and items that the cabin had. The location was a little far from Asheville. It was about a 40-45 minute drive to downtown Asheville and it was a drive that wasn’t comfortable in the dark. Great little stay though. |

The host proivided a wonderful place to stay. Everything is up to date yet still having that old mountain cabin feel. It was an extremely clean and private location with all the amenities one could want for a moutain escape weekend. We hope to stay again. |

Nice place for a short stay! It’s small (totally fine for our family of 4) and pretty far from things (30+ minutes to get to south Asheville), so I don’t think we’d want to stay for longer than a few days. The shower head sprayed out the top while we were there; if it isn’t fixed, our tip is to put a washcloth over the joint, which helps keep the bathroom from getting soaked. The Covid cleaning rules ask you to not just strip the beds but remake them—and if you don’t (along with a few other minor things), you’ll be charged an extra $50. That’s a little much, in my opinion, especially considering that there’s already a $75 cleaning fee. But overall, we had a pleasant stay. As others have mentioned, the road to the cabin is narrow and steep in points; it might be difficult to navigate in snow and/or ice. |

It was a very cozy mountain cabin! The cabin itself felt very private and the hot tub was fantastic. There’s a lot of great breweries minutes away, and Asheville was only a quick 40 minute drive. Loved our stay! Enjoyed every minute of it. |

This place is really comfy. We went in Dec so were able to take advantage of the hot tub. Boy is that nice on cold evenings. The place is a little small but would be fine for a family of 4 or 5. Very close to Brevard, Hendersonville and Ashville. It is a very private cabin with a steep drive up but remember it is in the mountains. Wifi, Netflix and Prime all worked well. We also have Verizon phones and the service was very good at the cabin. All kinds of great hiking trails within minutes of the cabin as well as places to eat and see. Would definitely return to this cozy place. |
