This was a great spot for our pups! There is alot of space to explore under a shady canopy of trees. We spent our time walking around the property and sitting by the river. Two kayakers passed by, which was a great training opportunity for our reactive (soon to be best good girl). We loved how close it was to the Pisgah Ranger District. It would be a great spot to take your dogs to burn off some energy before hitting the trails! |

Beautifully maintained and lovely spot to access the river. Detailed instructions to access the property + signage. Dogs + kitty had a blast! It was almost 90 degrees when we visited, but we were able to stay cool with all the shade and the river. Will definitely return! ???? |

A huge, clean expanse of Green space. Nicely shaded on a hot day. Unfenced but boardered by riverfront and dense vegetation on most sides so dog is easily contained. Great time. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The dogs both got muddy and loved every single minute of it. One of my dogs can be reactive, and I felt very secure with the river and woods around us. (Mine don’t really wander too far from me though.) If you’ve seen this spot and disregarded it because it’s not fenced, I recommend bringing a long lead to check it out. We really had a nice time. It was an easy drive from AVL. We brought a picnic, a blanket, and towels for the dogs to clean them up before heading out. We look forward to hanging out here again! As to be expected there were some gnats (not bad) so bring bug spray if you need it. Would be a great spot to read a book in a hammock. |

We had a good visit. My dog swam and galloped around. Steep river banks but there is one place that is great for dogs to get in and out. Very quiet and peaceful. |

Great place for a relaxing vacation. Close enough to all the hikes we were doing. Then we were able to come back and hop in the hot tub. About 15 minutes away from restaurants but keep in mind a lot close around 3pm on sundays. Small incline for the drive way but not on a busy road. Lots of beautiful plants around the cabin! |

Property was fantastic! Loved the location as well, super close to town and yet still out in a nice quiet area. The views were amazing and the drive was a little tight but nothing too crazy. Definitely enjoyed the stay! |

What a cozy space! The accommodations were much roomier than we had anticipated. David's place was a perfect meeting spot for a quick trip with family. Overall great value for money and far enough to feel secluded yet close enough to do a quick grocery run ( Ingles is approximately 10 min away) check-in was easy and directions provided were clear with no issues finding the place. |

We loved our stay at Mountain Shadows! The pictures don’t quite do it justice - such a lovely spot, and very peaceful next to the creek. David laid out clear instructions and the whole process was very smooth. We (and our dogs) are already planning our return! |

My wife and I absolutely loved our honeymoon stay at the Stoney Brook Cottage. Check in and out was simple and easy, David was very helpful through communication on local restaurants and sights to see. The cottage was clean and very cozy, made us feel right at home. Would definitely stay here again. |

The cabin was beautiful. We took our 2 fur babies and there was a fenced in yard. This made it so easy for them to go out and play as it was worry free. The hot tube was so relaxing after our day activities. Will be back in the fall to view the changing season. |

Very convenient area and great backyard for our pets. Beds were comfy. Bathroom a little bit small but OK. Didn't think that it should've been a requirement to have to change the sheets before we left because we are already paying a cleaning fee. |

This home was a wonderful spot to stay in. Such quiet and peaceful surroundings. The hot tub was amazing, and if your in the mood for Mexican food try Gordingo's it's was absolutely fantastic!!! Thankyou for letting us bring our dog, we go no where with out her. Just a perfect time! |

Very peaceful location, cute house & very clean! This is our 2nd time saying & we enjoyed our time both trips. Good location to hiking, fishing & waterfalls. Short trip to Breweries & good restaurants in Bervard. Enjoyed hot tub after a long day of exploring. Perfect mix of exploring & relaxing. |

We loved this place. We had everything we needed and then some. We especially loved being nestled in the woods and listening to the babbling brook which added to the serenity of the location. The hot tub was nice in the evenings too. We hiked 10+ trails and enjoyed the white squirrel fun in Brevard We also liked the Pavilion Corner Bar and restaurant located 10 min away. Great place to get away and enjoy the gift of nature. |

We have a 6-year-old and a 2-year-old and found that this quaint little piece of heaven was just what we needed on our first spring break. The cottage was super clean and so accommodating. The stream outside the cottage made for the perfect play area for our kiddos and a serene morning coffee spot. We have already started planning our next trip! |

This was a great week here. Nicely secluded but still close to Brevard. Hot tub was great after a 50 mile cycle ride. Having the basics there such as toilet paper etc was nicely appreciated. We would not hesitate to stay again. |

Great spot, easy to get to Brevard and surrounding areas. Hot tub was a nice bonus. Home was very clean. The three porches are very nice. Overall great spot. Will likely be staying here again. |
