Close to everything you would need and amazing parks and forests. Enjoyed the fenced back yard and deck. My husband and teen liked the gaming decor. Quiet neighborhood. Very nice stay. Would rent again. |

Mr. David is very responsive in a timely manner, very relaxing warm and welcoming environment it was in the 30s upon arrival had the heat on for us so home wasn’t cold enjoyed our stay will definitely be visited again in the future. |

Enjoyed our stay, around 20 min drive to Hendersonville 40 to Asheville plenty close to brewery’s Oskar blues is maybe 10 min great beers and food truck. The cabin was clean and very peaceful, hearing the creek every time you walk out is amazing. |

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was also close to a really nice dog park for anyone bringing furry friends. The cabin was clean and well stocked! |

Had an amazing time, just what I was looking for. It was very cozy and peaceful, a great relaxing gateway |

Such a great spot! Plenty of space to roam and a river to swim in. We will be back! |

A great place to call home for a few days of adventuring around Brevard. I never spend much time at my rentals, but it was a cozy spot to curl up on the couch with dinner and a movie after a full day in the mountains. Location is close to downtown, restaurants, and breweries. Backyard was great for my pup. Just note the back deck gets slick on those frosty mornings! |

This property is perfect. The location is awesome. It's so cute. Great place to celebrate Christmas |

Everything was as advertised. The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked and T he yard was perfect for our puppy. The location is perfect - close to everything, but far enough to feel like you’re in the woods. |

Lots of room to run around! A bit muddy after the rain so I would recommend waterproof boots and a towel! We had a great time |

The dogs had a great time. It had flooded, so we were unable to walk the acreage. Still a good time |

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was located close to many fabulous hikes and felt private. We hope to return. |

Our dogs loved it! There’s wooded areas and open areas with lots of trees and grass. We saw birds, and no other wildlife. Also, it’s worth mentioning that we got a little muddy and the dogs too as it recently rained. It wasn’t a problem for us, but I would bring a towel if it’s recently rained. Our dogs had a great time and we will definitely be back! |

We throughly enjoyed the cabin. The cabin is equipped with everything one needs for a lovely weekend or week away. The gas fireplace adds ambience and warmth. The hot tub was exactly what the door ordered as a way to unwind. We were very happy at the cabin. I definitely recommend it for a trip to the Asheville area. |

Nice, secluded cabin! This was our 2nd time staying @ Stoneybrook Cabin. |

My partner of four years and I took a trip to celebrate an early Christmas together. This cabin exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, stocked with what we needed, and super cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub, the views, and hiking on a trail in Pisgah Forest! |

David's spot was private & off the beaten path in such a beautiful location of Asheville. We enjoyed large TVs in every room and super comfortable beds.Never ran out of toiletries & loved the cabin interiors. Would highly recommend. |

The cabin was beautiful! We had a blast and enjoyed the mountains surrounding the cabin. The space and hot tub were very clean and the three porches were decorated nicely. Overall a great place to stay! |

Everything is exceeded our expectations. |

Very private and clean, plenty of room for dogs explore and get exercise. Wasn’t quite sure about property lines and did see a dump truck drive onto property. |

This place is awesome! Fields, forest, and a river - so much for the dogs to do and explore. Love that you can drive down into the spot and let the dogs out farther away from the main road. It felt very peaceful and private. Can’t wait to visit again! |

My dogs love it out here! Lots of places to run. |

This property was everything we were looking for and more. My wife and I stayed three nights and could have stayed more. Nice neighborhood, but plenty of privacy, just perfect for our stay during our 25th anniversary. My wife and I have already spoken about possibly returning. |

The entire place was amazing! The view at night from the hot tub was stunning!!! Everything inside was exactly as described. |

The home was easy to find and easy to get into. Walked in it smelled great. Appeared clean. Was very convient to grocery stores and small restaurants. LESS than 5 mins from DT Brevard. Very close to a couple waterfalls which we enjoyed. Overall the house suited our needs. ONLY concern is the cleaning situation. You gotta be one of those people to trust the people before you did what they were supposed to do. There is an extra 75.00 fee if you don't do certain things. My husband was up at 7 washing all the linens and sheets. I mean if you stay only 2 night like we did. The beds wouldn't appear to be dirty. You could literally pull the sheets tight and make the bed and the cleaning people and people coming in wouldn't know the difference. Then you just get in the bed that some else slept in without it being cleaned which is kinda concerning. I missed that in the ad. Would have weighted that in the price of that with a house where we didn't half to do anything. Satisfied overall. |

Old house, but they have kept it up really nice. Upstairs bed was so comfy! They have box fans and a heater in the closet in case u need them and soo many extra towels. Loved the porches with the Christmas light. It was so pretty. Its so cozy we stayed at the house most of the time. I definitely recommend this place.Thank you David! |

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean, very quiet, and so peaceful enjoying the Creek from the patio. |

Beautiful spot and tons of open space for the dogs to run. Just far enough off the road for me not to stress about them straying too far towards it. We don’t live in the area but we would be here every week if we did! |

House was nice, clean, and in a beautiful location. Only complaint would be the rather aggressive sounding cleaning instructions with threats of additional charges. |

This place was perfection. Clean, warm, cozy, comfortable, well stocked and convenient. I felt right at home immediately but better because I was on vacation. My dog loved the fenced in yard and I loved stargazing from the jacuzzi on the porch. I will be back. Thank you for making it such a lovely place to get away to. |

We celebrated our 1st anniversary while we were here. I knew when I booked this cabin that it was going to be perfect... and it was. We left the cabin long enough to go watch the parade and eat at Binions, other than that we didn't leave until we had to checkout. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub. We'll definitely be coming back. |

The cottage is in a great location. Not far from town, several waterfalls and hiking trails. Loved the enclosed porches and fenced in yard for our fur baby. The cottage was clean and cozy. |

Beautiful tiny home located as close as you can get to DuPont State Forest. Great communication with the host, and was better than the pictures indicate. A++++ for cleanliness. Only suggestion is to follow the directions provided by the host, my GPS took us to another address. |

This was the perfect little house for my kids and I to stay at. Quiet neighborhood very clean. Checking in was hassle free Thank you |

Finding the property and check-in couldn't have been easier. Google Maps sent us a slightly different way from the hosts' directions (Grove Bridge instead of Crab Creek). Either works fine. Mountain Shadows is in a hilly area with homes scattered a bit apart. There is a creek running down by the cabin. It was completely quiet when we arrived, because Penrose hadn't had rain in a while, but it poured rain our second full day, and then the creek roared. The cabin was great! You can just see another property from the porch, but there is a covering protecting you from prying eyes. Hot tub pro tip: if you want to use it your first night, check the temperature when you arrive and raise it. It was 96 when we first looked and took two hours to reach 98, which was just barely warm enough that first night. The next night we had it at a toasty 103 and were much happier. The hot tub is a small one - really for two people. It worked well. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pans, and utensils. Everything was super clean. The furniture was comfortable - just be aware the sofa is quite low, and if you are a senior citizen and have trouble getting out of low furniture this might be a problem. The bed was on the firm side; bed and pillows were quite comfortable for us. Our favorite part was the temperature control! Each room has its own thermostat, plus there is a thermostat for the fireplace. The fireplace kept the living area amazingly warm. We had a great stay! |

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here! Loved the location, super convenient to hiking and just a peaceful place to getaway! The kids books and dishes were a plus. Upon arrival the cabin was 53 degrees which was unexpected. Thankfully the wall heater helped to heat it up fairly quickly. We also noticed the vent in the bathroom needs to be cleaned (very dusty). There aren’t ceiling fans in the bedrooms and there also isn’t a dishwasher. Lastly, the extended check-out cleaning process was a little surprising and challenging for us with young kids. We did overall have a good stay here but I’m not positive we would stay again just based on our family and our preferences. |

Very unique spot! So much room to safely roam around plus access to the French Broad. My 3 heelers demand that we go back soon! |

Great place! My dogs go crazy with all the new smells, the river, and all the free space to run. |

We were in town for my girls birthday and we both loved this place for privacy overall and the misty trees in the morning from the deck was awesome! Cabin is really cozy and overall comfortable. We do have one note… what is up with the creepy photo of all those dang sad looking kids from the 1800’s, in the hall it is nightmare fuel! Haha. Kidding of course, was running joke for us which was fun. Stay here for sure if you get a chance! Lovely cabin! |

Great stay and close to a lot of things. The hot tub and deck was very nice. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. A lot to do around the area as well. However, the house was a little dirty. Some of the cooking utensils and pans were dirty. As well as under the bed was very dusty and had a lot of pet hair. Other than that, this was a great stay and I would absolutely recommend! Thank you!! |

100% dog approved :). It is like an adventure park for dogs. Joey could run like the wind, climbing up and down the river bank. We even practiced recalls and other games. Thanks David. |
